When you use PrepMe.pk, we may collect the following:

  • Academic and professional background where relevant to your assessment;
  • Your responses and answers during assessment sessions;
  • Payment and billing information, processed securely through third-party gateways;
  • Technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and device information;
  • Usage data — how you navigate and interact with the platform.

2. Why We Collect It

We use your data to:

  • Create and manage your account;
  • Deliver assessments and generate your reports;
  • Process your payments;
  • Send you updates, service notifications, and support responses;
  • Improve our platform and develop better assessment tools using anonymized data;
  • Detect and prevent fraud or misuse;
  • Meet our legal obligations under Pakistani law.

We will not use your data for anything beyond these purposes without letting you know first.

3. Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

  • The institution or organization that commissioned your assessment, where applicable — they will receive your report and are responsible for how they use it;
  • Trusted third-party service providers who help us run the platform, such as cloud hosting and payment processors — they are bound by confidentiality obligations;
  • Law enforcement or regulatory authorities if required by Pakistani law or a valid court order.

4. Your Assessment Data

Your assessment responses and reports are sensitive. We treat them with extra care. Individual reports are only shared with you and, where relevant, the institution that engaged your assessment. We never sell this data. We may use anonymized, aggregated response data to improve and validate our assessment instruments — your identity will never be identifiable in any such analysis.

5. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your data only as long as necessary:

  • Account information: 5 years after you close your account;
  • Assessment response data: 3 years from the date of the assessment;
  • Assessment reports: 5 years;
  • Payment records: 7 years, as required by Pakistani tax law.

After these periods, your data is securely deleted or permanently anonymized.

6. How We Protect Your Data

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), encrypted storage, and strict internal access controls. We conduct regular security reviews and have procedures in place to respond to any data breach. If a breach occurs that affects your data, we will notify you promptly.

7. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used. You can adjust cookie settings in your browser. Turning off certain cookies may affect how the platform works for you. We do not use cookies for external advertising.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations;
  • Object to certain types of processing;
  • Withdraw any consent you have given us at any time.

9. Children

PrepMe.pk is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child's data has been submitted to us, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

If we update this policy, we will notify you by email or via the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
